For B2B customers, CarweB data is accessible via standard web services and is returned in xml format only. The data fields returned are limited by customer specific xml versions. As new data fields are added or removed, a new xml version is created allowing a customer time to test before migrating to the new version.

More than one xml version can be live allowing different fields to be accessible dependant on end customer requirements.

Similarly when new data sources are added to our core database, a new web service version is developed again allowing customers time to test before migrating.

All requests must originate from known static IP addresses and CarweB have a number of different servers located around the country with separate URLs to provide redundancy.
